Today we will discuss what is eCommerce, its types, and how we can earn money through eCommerce.
Many of us have been read or heard the theoretical definition of the E-Commerce or at least we have been heard about Flipkart, Amazon. Many of us have been shopped on these sites so simply E-Commerce means the transition of buying and selling happened through the internet. it could be anything it could be a product like a mobile phone, T-shirt or Books or it could be a service like booking a ticket for a movie or plane.

so simply buying on Flipkart a product is eCommerce or buying a movie ticket on BookMyShow is also an eCommerce.
Now we will discuss the types of the eCommerce business

There are four main types of eCommerce business and those are following,

Business to Consumer (B2C):

When a business sells a product or service to a person (e.g. You buy a mobile phone from Flipkart or Amazon).Business to Consumer (B2C):
When a business sells a product or service to a person (e.g. You buy a mobile phone from Flipkart or Amazon).

Business to Business (B2B):

When a business sells a product or service to another business (e.g. A business sells software-as-a-service for other businesses to use)

Consumer to Consumer (C2C):

When a person sells a product or service to another person (e.g. You sell your old mobile on Olx to another person).

Consumer to Business (C2B):

When a person sells their products or services to a business or organization (e.g. An Instagram influencer offers exposure to their online audience in exchange for a fee, or a photographer licenses their photo for a business to use).

Now we will talk about how we can start a business in eCommerce.

let’s take an example if you bought a T-shirt from our brand Bombay Clothing Company from Amazon for 499. it will be delivered to your home by amazon you might think amazon has sold this T-shirt to you but in actual this T-shirt has not sold by amazon. it has just made is available to you by Amazon and it is sold by a seller who is registered on Amazon i.e Bombay Clothing Company that is us. so every product sold on amazon there is a seller who sells this product to you using amazon as a platform.
Logistic and payment are done by the amazon so win-win for both seller and buyer. currently, there are more than 1 lac online sellers sells on amazon all over India, and here is the opportunity lies here we can sell high demand, unique products through eCommerce platforms to people not in just India rather all over the world. this is the biggest opportunity of eCommerce & that too works 24*7.
